Océane is the puppy I decided to keep in house. She has very lovely movement and a beautiful head piece. Océane had been to training with me at the Marvel K9 Ringsport Club a few times but I had decided to go in the direction of herding with her and we now train with Action K9 Sports. She shows aptitude and talent for this sport which I am thrilled with as this is what the breed was originally bred to do. She earned her AKC Herding Tested title in July 2019 and continues to work in herding towards higher titles. Océane finished the 2019 Owner Handler show year as #14 overall and earned an Owner Handled Group 3 during the year as well. During the global pandemic of 2020, we diligently continued herding training when it was safe and was able to earn Océane's Herding Trial Arena Dog Level 1 title on sheep at an AHBA trial. At this same trial, she beat out 8 other dogs for the coveted High in Trial win. She finished her AKC championship by going up over a top winning dog while the summer prior, she had placed Award of Merit over 30 plus other beaucerons at the ABC's National Specialty in Blackfoot, ID. Océane is a spirited bitch with a playful mindset, she has become a highlight in my pack in terms of endearment.
