While this was a petsitter's error, this was a pairing we were excited to do in a year's time however circumstances are not always the way we hope they will be. This pairing is phenotypically similar while the pedigree is completely outcrossed, bringing in good genetic diversity to the American gene pool. Gateau (affectionately known as Cake) is a driven golden retriever born into a beauceron body, never met a stranger he didn't immediately love or a tug he wasn't crazy about. Océane is an independent funny "jokes on you" type of female that takes her work and learning seriously. |

This litter was bred in hopes of locking in more rustic classic type into our puppies as well as continuing to produce solid work ethic. I have personally had the privilege of meeting a number of Murier de Sordeille dogs (a few in this pedigree) in France at their wonderful breeding facility and have a lot of confidence in Guy's program with producing the "total dog". I anticipate this carrying through to the puppies with this pairing. |
